Before BMBK Games
The idea of BMBK Games first appeared in 2016, but the studio was officially founded on October 1, 2021. At the beginning there was one person: BamBooK919, Andrey Iyunskiy.
The name BMBK Games comes from the founder’s nickname. Before that, the future studio had other names: PlayToday, Game INSIDE, PieGames, and ClickGames.
Small RPG and the Official Start
The announcement of Small RPG, an unreleased Action RPG, became the moment that can be treated as the studio’s real start.
Small RPG never reached release, but it marked an important shift: BMBK Games wanted to build complete games with their own identity.
MONSTER WAR: Older Than the Studio
MONSTER WAR was born in 2021 while BamBooK919 was learning HTML through clicker games. The idea was spontaneous, but it was influenced by open-world action RPGs such as Dying Light, Horizon Zero Dawn, and God of War 2018.
The appeal was progression through resources, stats, numbers, percentages, systems, and mechanics. The goal was not to make another simple tapper, but a clicker RPG with dense systems beneath its simple surface.
MONSTER WAR is older than BMBK Games itself. In a way, BMBK Games was not created for MONSTER WAR; MONSTER WAR was created for BMBK Games.
Team and Atmosphere
People joined BMBK Games personally through BamBooK919. In the early period, most members helped with testing, while BamBooK919 handled most of the development alone.
The studio’s atmosphere is friendly and trust-based: a small group built around projects, ideas, and the desire to finish what they start.
Steam Release and a Hard Decision
The release of MONSTER WAR on Steam in August 2025 was the first moment when the studio truly felt: “we are making games.”
MONSTER WAR also became a painful lesson. The game failed commercially, and the decision to stop supporting it was difficult. That experience remains part of the studio’s foundation.
Noskovrazdor and National Attention
Noskovrazdor began when Nikita FatalFury Prudchenko suggested making a clicker about internet blocking. The title was suggested by former studio writer Inzumi.
The topic was broad and understandable, with room for humor, satire, mechanics, atmosphere, and situations familiar to the audience.
Two weeks before release, Noskovrazdor unexpectedly gained major attention. Gamers across the country noticed it, and large gaming, military, economic, and political Telegram channels wrote about the game.
Principles
BMBK Games wants to make games with unusual ideas and to push the boundaries of familiar genres. Humor, accessibility, atmosphere, and community matter deeply to the studio.
The studio also has lines it does not want to cross. BMBK Games does not aim to add things that most players dislike: intrusive ads, poor optimization, or inflated scope for its own sake.
Today
Today BMBK Games is growing slowly but steadily. The studio wants to become famous and loved by players without losing its character.
The story of BMBK Games is a story of persistence, experiments, hard decisions, and respect for the craft. It is still being written.
